Sword of the Stranger (DVDrip - 2007)

Masahira Ando who was a key figure in the animation Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor, Memories, Evangelion, Jin-Roh, Cowbow Bebop and Gundam Seed teamed up with Studio Bones (Wolf’s Rain, Rahxephon, Fullmetal Alchemist) to bring Sword of the Stranger , a samurai animation set in the Senkoku period that follows a swordsman whose sworn off his name and sword in times of trouble, a golden-haired blue-eyed assassin with untenable dreams, and the story that brings these two strangers to Japan towards a mysterious young boy.


Hunted by the the Mings from China, young Kotaro and his dog meet a nameless samurai ("Nanashi") who is constantly being haunted by dreams of the past which lead him to seal his sword. Among the Mings is a fiercesome Western fighter named Rarou, who desires only to find a worthy opponent. When both groups clash with a Sengoku-era feudal lord, a proud general, and monks torn between faith and survival, the reason behind the Mings' pursuit tests the bond between Kotaro and Nanashi.
