Dororo (DVDrip - 2007)

A female warrior (Shibasaki) who was raised as a man joins a young samurai's quest to recover his body parts from demons and restore his dad's natural form. Based on the manga from Osamu Tezuka.


Kagemitsu Daigo, a warlord , made a pact with 48 demons , in order to gain greater power in the battlefield. He pledged his first born son , Hyakkimaru, who ended up born without arms , legs , and other various body parts. Abandoned in a river, Hyakkimaru was rescued by a scientist who raised him and helped creating artificial parts for his body. All grown up, Hyakkimaru sets out on a quest to find the 48 demons and reclaims his body parts, accompanied by a female sidekick (who was raised as a male).
