Paha maa (DVDrip - 2005)

When a schoolteacher is sacked he projects his bad mood at his troubled teen son. He in turn buys a CD player from a pawnshop with counterfeit money. This causes a chain-reaction that wreaks havoc on many lives, as everyone transfers their problems to the next victim.




Tuomas is a young computer hacker who wishes to accomplish something significant and useful to the society. Tuomas´s best friend Niko has more of a rock mentality than him, leading a more hedonistic life in the world of drugs and alcohol. About 20 years old, Elina is a brave and intelligent young activist studying history and political science at the university. Elina and Tuomas have had a happy relationship for over a year and are planning to get married. A chain reaction of events starts after Niko forges a 500 euro note. In the film´s other plot, the attack planned by Tuomas and Elina on an information network has grave consequences.

Frozen Land is an intense, fast-paced and realistic depiction of today´s Finland. It contains several dramatic and tragic events and plenty of action, but also warmth. The film has an episodic structure, where the stories are not always linked to each other in a chronological order.




Tierra helada.Tuomas en un joven hacker que quiere hacer algo útil, bueno para la sociedad y notable. Al mejor amigo de Tuomas, Niko, le va más la marcha que a Tuomas, y lleva una vida hedonista de alcohol y drogas. Niko se va de casa y abandona a su padre, que está destrozado por el paro y el alcohol. Elina es una activista veintiañera atrevida e inteligente, y estudia Historia y Ciencias Sociales en la universidad. Elina y Tuomas llevan saliendo juntos más de un año y les va bien. Tuomas ha estado planeando un golpe a las bases de datos sociales, y le pide a Niko que participe en la operación. Niko falsifica un billete de 500 euros que llega a manos de Isto Virtanen, un trabajador que tiene problemas con la policía cuando pasa el billete sin saberlo. Como revancha, Isto roba el coche más lujoso de un vendedor de automóviles de una zona reidencial. A su vez, el vendedor recupera la propiedad del coche del comercial Hurskainen, con lo que acaba con su negocio. El tercer hilo argumental gira en torno a Hannele, una policía y su marido, que es profesor.




Tuomas, un jeune homme qui pirate les systèmes informatiques, désire accomplir quelque chose de plus constructif dans la vie. Son meilleur ami Niko est quant à lui un hédoniste porté sur l’alcool et la drogue. Le jour où ce dernier arrive à falsifier un billet de 500 euros débute une série d’événements aux conséquences tragiques…
