Серьезные хронические и наследственные заболевания проявляются в изменениях генной структуры клетки человека. Помимо нормальных и «правильных» генов, присутствует и «испорченный» ген, влияющий на сохранение и дальнейшее развитие болезни. Разработчики метода генной терапии предлагали заменить «испорченный» ген на нормальный ген. Причём такую замену необходимо было произвести в каждой клетке. А доставлять нормальные гены до каждой клетки должен был специальный носитель – вирус.
Как показали последующие события, радость врачей была поспешной и преждевременной. На пороге осуществления мечта медиков погибла. Чудо не свершилось, а перешло в трагедию одной семьи – Гельсингеров. Прошло уже несколько лет, но Полю Гельсингеру всё еще очень трудно рассказывать о том, как в результате применения метода генной терапии умер его сын, Джесси. Смерть Джесси Гельсингера отбросила врачей далеко назад в их неутомимом поиске лекарства на все случаи... Но поиск продолжается!

This includes the Cairngorms and the Lochaber hills. The range includes Ben Nevis (the highest point in the British Isles at 1,344 metres above sea level) and Ben Macdui (the second highest at 1,309 metres).

These interesting documentaries follow one another quite well. The first, Dino Deathtrap, is a story of a huge deposit of dinosaur bones found in overlaying segments in a single location in China. Several new to science species are uncovered. The title is well approached in this episode. The second episode is not so well put together and arrives at no finality. At the end, we are left without fulfilment. It is a spectaular find, but the science of unveiling the fossil uniqueness and what the fossil offers. THere are many theories and speculation, but very little about the fossil comes to light. We find out that the beasst is larger than thought, has larger legs and a much deeper pelvis than thought, but anything is speculative at this point.

This movie tells about the origin and creation of killer Tsunami waves and about the destruction caused by them in the past on Hawai, Japan and some places of U.S. It tells about the cause of Tsunami i.e an under sea earthquake due to collision of tactonic plates and thus displacing a great amount of water that runs to the shores with superspeeds and causes destructions on coastal areas. The concept is good and well picturised. The only thing missing is that it does not have the coverage of latest Tsunami that hit Sri Lanka, India Etc.
