A young lion prince is born in Africa, thus making his uncle Scar the second in line to the throne. Scar plots with the hyenas to kill King Mufasa and Prince Simba, thus making himself King. The King is killed and Simba is led to believe by Scar that it was his fault, and so flees the kingdom in shame. After years of exile he is persuaded to return home to overthrow the usurper and claim the kingdom as his own thus completing the "Circle of Life".

О фильме:
Разгневавшись на род людской, погрязший в грехе и неверии, Бог решил устроить Всемирный Потоп и повелел единственному праведнику, Ною, построить большой Ковчег, в котором поместились бы его семья и «каждой твари по паре». Старый Ной постарался на славу — все 40 дней и ночей, пока Господь не остановит всемирный потоп, на борту ковчега никто не будет скучать! Там есть свой ночной клуб, бар, больше тысячи двухместных кают, огромная кухня, где готовятся исключительно вегетарианские блюда, что, правда, вызывает недовольство у хищников. Пока Господь с верным помощником Ангелом пишут для людей Ветхий Завет и планируют пиар первого издания, корабль плывет к новому светлому будущему. Но не все так гладко на борту, как кажется Ною и его семье — между животными разгорается борьба за власть. Льву Ксиро надо доказать, что он не просто «пиратская копия» короля, но самый настоящий царь зверей. А это не так-то просто — на пути у него свирепый тигр, прекрасная соблазнительница пантера Панти и целая шайка хищников.

Le Crazy Horse a repris récemment la tradition des performances réalisées par des personnalités invitées. Cette fois, c'est notre frenchy Arielle Dombasle. La comédienne s'est produite dans le cadre inattendu du Crazy Horse, du 11 au 18 février 2007, pour 17 shows. Seule ou en compagnie des danseuses du Crazy, elle a chanté quatre chansons de son dernier album C'est si bon, à l'occasion de tableaux "sexy et sensuels" -mais sans véritable effeuillage-, spécialement mis au point par les créateurs Vincent Darré et Ali Mahdavi.

"Egérie des plus grands réalisateurs et chanteuse reconnue aussi bien en France qu'à l'étranger, Arielle Dombasle, incarnation du chic et du glamour, est une femme libre et surprenante, se jouant des conventions avec grâce et enthousiasme", a souligné la responsable de la communication du cabaret.

En octobre, la danseuse et mannequin américaine Dita Von Teese, icône ultra féminine et excentrique, épouse du rockeur Marylin Manson, a donné pendant huit jours son show sexy, Le bain, effeuillage dans les règles de l'art, autour d'une baignoire XIXe, dans un nuage de bulles de savon.

Doolittle Lynn a fait la campagne de France, en 1944, et rentre au pays, le Kentucky où il a le choix entre deux activités, mineur ou revendeur de whisky clandestin. Il épouse Loretta Webb, treize ans, fille d'un mineur de fond.Le début de leur vie commune démarre sur un échec. La nuit de noces se déroule dans un motel glacial. Doolittle ne veut pas rester mineur et décide de se rendre à Washington où l'on demande des bûcherons. Enceinte, Loretta va chez ses parents en attendant que son mari s'installe en ville. Peu après, il la rappelle. Six ans plus tard, le jeune a quatre enfants...

The movie was adapted from Lynn's biography written with George Vecsey. Loretta Lynn was one of the first female superstars in country music and remains a defining presence within the genre; with her strong, clear, hard-country voice and tough, no-nonsense songs about husbands who cheat and abuse and wives who weren't about to be pushed around, Lynn introduced a feminist mindset to Nashville years before the phrase "women's liberation" became common currency. One of eight children born to Ted Webb (Levon Helm), a coal miner raising a family despite grinding poverty in Butcher Hollow, KY, Loretta married Doolittle "Mooney" Lynn (Tommy Lee Jones) when she was only 13 years old.

Judd Apatow, the writer/producer behind comedies such as Knocked-Up, Superbad, 40 years old virgin, returns with Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, a parody of Hollywood classic bio-pic (mostly on Johnny Cash’ Walk the Line). John C. Reilly, in his Golden-Globe-nominated role, stars as Dewey Cox, a rock & roll icon whose reputation includes sleeping with 411 women, friend of Elvis and the Beatles , and larger than life rock ‘n roll lifestyle which includes consuming every pill & powder known to man. (The director’s cut is 24 minutes longer than the theatrical release)

Somewhere between pitch-perfect parodies from Christopher Guest and Co. (such as THIS IS SPINAL TAP and A MIGHTY WIND) and slapstick spoofs (such as AIRPLANE and the NAKED GUN) resides the farcical biopic WALK HARD: THE DEWEY COX STORY. Taking the critically lauded Johnny Cash biopic WALK THE LINE as its most obvious inspiration, WALK HARD plows its way through every rock star cliché--from drug use and rampant sex to artistic self-indulgence and spiritual redemption--laying waste to all of them with unremitting blasts of brilliantly lowbrow comedy. Written by Judd Apatow and starring Jon C. Reilly in the title role, WALK HARD is a deliciously basic synthesis of any number of ponderous biographical narratives with the poetic raunchiness of Apatow films, such as SUPERBAD and KNOCKED UP, and the most lovably inane aspects of Reilly’s role as Cal Naughton Jr. in TALLEDEGA NIGHTS. In fact, fans will have a blast spotting the endless array of cameos by the gifted comic actors who pepper all of those films, including Jonah Hill, Kristin Wiig, Ed Helms, and Jack McBrayer, among many others. Although Reilly (whose comedic chops are nearly on par with his skills as a dramatic player) is hilarious as the hapless rock-&-roll icon Cox, and Jenna Fischer is utterly charming and slyly multifaceted as Darlene Madison (June to Dewey’s Johnny), it’s the ensemble cast that makes the film so much fun. WALK HARD is the cinematic equivalent of a rock-&-roll jam session: a basic, yet entertaining and fairly interesting idea gets tossed into the creative arena and everyone gets a chance to play along, riff on the idea, and mug for the camera. One day, Etienne (George Chakiris) and Bill (Groover Dale) arrive in town, and need the twins help with a song and dance-number. Also, the famous piano-player Andy Miller (Gene Kelly) comes to town to help an old friend.
